Brake inspection should be an inspection that is done part of a service schedule , not only is the braking system a major component in the vehicle but one of the major factors of vehicle safety.

The braking system is made up of the hydraulic fluid and components, brake pads ,disc rotors, brake shoes and wheel cylinders.

Part of driving the vehicle requires you to stop the vehicle and this is done through the braking system. Due to this motion of braking and having the vehicle stop or slow down the parts do wear and after some period will require to be replaced.

  • Leaking brake fluid or low brake fluid level
  • Hand brake has reduced effectiveness
  • Unusual scraping noises when braking
  • Car pulls to one side
  • Brake pedal becomes "spongy"
